Periapsis Music and Dance presents “To Take You There,’ our season 9 show and the return of our company to the stage!

Join us for an incredible lineup of artists:

– A new commissioned work by Gabrielle Lamb, with new music by Jonathan Howard Katz
– A new commissioned work by Alia Kache (“To Take You There”), with new music by Jonathan Howard Katz, setting a poem by Andrea Cohen
– A new work by Rohan Bhargava, setting Asha Srinivasan’s “Dviraag”
– A new work by Annie Nikunen as choreographer, composer, dancer, and flutist

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are two ways to see this performance. The first is in person, at Dixon Place, on June 27. There is limited seating with partial distancing, masks required, and you’ll need to show proof of vaccination at the door (Excelsior Pass, vaccine card, photo of vaccine card), but you get to be there for a live show. Yay!

The other way to see our show is virtually. The video will be available from June 30, 8pm, to July 7, 9pm, and you can choose between different pricing options. VIRTUAL ACCESS IS LISTED AS JUNE 30, BUT YOU CAN TUNE IN ANYTIME WITHIN THE WEEK. If you join us at 8pm on June 30, you can enjoy the YouTube “premiere,” with live chat. But you can access the video at any point until June 7, 9pm EDT. Yay!

For virtual viewers, please look for instructions in the ticket confirmation email on how to view. We’ll also send the link in reminder emails.
