Our team needs your help! Each year we rely on in-person fundraising events to help raise money for a variety of things including: costumes, guest teachers, supplies, competition fees and trips and scholarships for our members a well as to running the program. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all in-person events have been cancelled thus impairing our ability to raise money for the team so that we can have our team back again for next season!

Please consider donating in any of the amounts suggested or your own amount to support our team!

(BPT waives the fee for donations and your full donation will go directly to the program)

The Shorecrest Dance Team’s purpose is to promote diversity by utilizing Hip Hop as their medium. While learning teamwork, responsibility, and dance, the team develops camaraderie, and learns the importance of community.

AWARDS include District Titles wins from 2004-2019, State Championship Titles in 2006, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, National Titles in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2019, Academic Excellence Award in 2006 and 2007. Coach Rex Kinney was awarded Coach of the Year by the WSDDCA in 2011 and inducted in to the WSDDCA Hall Fame in 2017.

Reaching out to our community, we offer kids hip hop clubs, camps, and workshops throughout the school year to local schools, community centers, and summer camp programs. The team also performs for various community events. This is MORE than just a dance activity. We give our members hands on training that builds their experience, life and social skills.
