Hi, what are you looking for?

Creators Podcast : Who, What, Where, When & How

Shomee’s Creators Podcast brings together a community of event organizers, speakers, educators, and performing artists of every kind to learn from each other and keep our industry thriving. Here’s an overview of what to expect as a guest, and a link to submit your pitch.

Where? The broadcast will be available as an audio podcast on a number of podcast channels including Spotify, Google, and iTunes; and as a video on YouTube.

How? The interview will be conducted and recorded using Zoom conference app. it’s preferred that you use the Desktop app instead of your phone. The meeting will not instantly start recording when you join, so you can relax 🙂 We’ll talk for a minute or two and go over what you’d like to highlight.

If you don’t have the Zoom app for your phone or desktop, it’s highly recommended that you download that beforehand and test out your audio/video settings. https://zoom.us/download

What? Below is list of questions I might ask, but generally, we’ll just treat this as if we are meeting in a coffee shop, and let the conversation flow on its own.

1. How did your company get started?

2. What trends do you see in the Events industry?
3. What can performers/ companies like yours learn from you?
4. Beyoncé or Lady Gaga?

Towards the end, I will ask you how people can “find out more”, and you can plug whatever you like.

When? Your podcast will be broadcast in 1-2 weeks after the recording date. We will advertise in our our email newsletter, social channels, blog on www.shomee.life, and other news sites like Flipboard.com. If you have a specific event date coming up, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to release it in time to give your event some extra P.R.

We’d also love it if you tagged us in your posts using @shomeelife and #shomeelife

Who?… YOU! Do you have a clip showcasing your event or a performance that we can include as part of the video podcast? Send us a link to download from Dropbox, Google drive, Hightail, etc. Use the email hello@shomee.email and include your name and interview date in the message. Don’t try to send the video through email. It will just get lost on the inter-webs.

I look forward to speaking with you!
