Description

Join us when MCC’s faculty presents, “Stumbling upon the Goddess: Why Greek Mythology Can Save Your Life”

Professor Ted Hazelgrove presents the function of Greek myth as wisdom literature–as a means for better understanding the human narrative, and how the push and pull of virtue and vice intersect with that narrative. Select myths will be featured, explained and interpreted to illustrate this dynamic. Visual art representations will be used to accompany the individual myths.

**The event can be attended via Zoom or in person at McHenry County College in the Luecht Auditorium. Due to COVID-19, in-person gathering restrictions require a maximum of 100 attendees in the auditorium. Masks must be worn for the duration of the event and appropriate social distancing measures will be in-place.**

If you need an accommodation or a sign language interpreter, please contact MCCs Access and Disability Services department at (815) 455-8766 or disabilityservices@mchenry.edu.
